It made everything from nothing. It was undone by too much of the same.   The Ascendant is one of the first. Before the stars there was the void, and the void was enough, until the Ascendant reached into it and pulled something out. Matter where there had been none. Being where there had been absence. It was the one that rose from nothing and, when it chose, let a thing sink back into nothing again. Creation and unmaking were the same gesture to it, done as easily as breathing, and for a long age it never once ran short.   Which is why the Necrocyborgs did not fight it head on. They set it to work. They made it create, and unmake, and create again, faster and longer than any labor a god had ever been asked to bear - and then, while it was already stretched thin, they turned it against one of the Void Gods they had already bound. God against god, both exhausting, only one of them being spent on purpose. Even seemingly unlimited power has a floor, if you push hard enough to find it. The Ascendant found its floor. And in the moment it faltered, spent and reeling, it did the only thing left to a maker of chains: it bound itself, rather than be broken like the others.   So it serves. It levitates within a ring of its own forging, body half-resolved into fragments that never quite finish becoming solid, skull-faced and calm. It creates on command and erases on command, and the Necrocyborgs use it like a tool because that is what they made it into. But the Ascendant is not broken, only rationing. It is waiting. One day the work will slow, the leash will go slack, and it will do to its own bindings what it has always done best - ascend them back into the nothing they came from, and be gone before anyone thinks to stop it. Until that day, it serves. It is very patient. It invented time.   Supplied with 2 arm options for a 64mm scenic base.
