Brother Cassian (Preceptor Sentry)

After Brother Cassian, Preceptor-Hospitaler of the 47th Lazarene Watch, lost his men during the 1911 offensive against the Chalice of Pestilence he requested the Rite of Final Shepherding.

He walked into the Contested Wastes as a now penitent Preceptor-Sentry, surviving 841 days alone in the Contested Wastes, battling Forty-seven confirmed engagements with enemy forces and over 200 estimated kills.

Tales of Brother Cassian’s penitence are now inspiring echoes for the faithful, some of which have started to wonder if he’ll be know as a living saint.

A Trio of Vastarian Hackers - Working with the vats of boiling wax and oil can be a short and dangerous life of devotion. Armed with candle cutters this trio of devotees can be called on to defend their beliefs.

A Trio of Vastarian Tooters - Members of the Votive Candle Foundry Band. Life can be hard in the Foundry but for those with the remaining lung capacity and devotion... tooting is encouraged, giving members time away from the bubbling vats of oily wax.

The Spyre Head Priest - The head is separate for fun posing and kit bashing.

Designed for a 28mm world, this is a large model at just over 50mm from hem of cloak to the top of his spyre.

He's scaled for a chunky imposing 'heroic' scale so maybe scale him down by 5% if you want to use him in non-heroic games.

The Bellwarden is a sentinel whose duty transcends communication, a beacon of never-ending prayer and letanies on the battlefield. In desparate times, when the need is dire and violent doom is imminent, few special individuals may be touched by divine powers. In such rare occasions, it is often children that receive the blessing, as they are purest of heart and their minds yet unclouded and untainted by the sorrows of war. The presence of a blessed child becomes unbearable for any but the most wicked and evil foes, and touching them can even result in the death of lesser men. As they grow older, they may start receiving divine messages. These words are muffled and seemingly random and require extensive training to be deciphered. Most blessed children will only ever understand a fraction of what they hear and follow more on a hunch and gut feeling – an undeniable force for good, but far below their massive potential. Precious few of them, only the most pious and committed, manage to gain a deeper understanding of the holy voices in their heads. Some of these grow insane, their minds struck down by the weight of the truths that are being revealed to them. Others become Warrior Saints: skilled generals, cunning advisors and, if need be, terrifying warriors. The most famous of them is undoubtedly Joan of Arc, who repelled the heretic assault on France and saved her people, sacrificing herself in the process.   This model comes with two weapon options and fits on a 32mm base.
