Medic of Last Attendant moves through the pilgrimage with hands already stained. She is not marked by gentleness, nor restrained by hesitation. Her calling is not mercy, but obligation carried to its furthest edge. Among the Pilgrims of the Blighted Devotion, she is recognized by the tools she bears and the calm with which she applies them, whether to preserve breath or to end it cleanly. She serves the body without illusion. Disease has claimed her flesh as surely as it has claimed those she tends, and she does not distinguish between wounds earned by faith or by failure. To her, the body is a vessel whose usefulness must be measured honestly. When it can still walk, she binds it, cuts it, floods it with bitter draughts that dull pain and suppress refusal. When it cannot, she opens the throat or stills the heart with the same precision, denying waste and prolongation alike. On the battlefield, the Medic of Last Attendant works where suffering is thickest. She kneels in mud and fire, prying open ruined armour, fingers slipping on blood and oil. Those she treats are not restored. They are returned to motion. The chemicals she carries do not heal; they quiet agony long enough for the wounded to stand, advance, and spend what remains of themselves where it is still required. She does not grieve those who fall again, nor does she praise those who rise. Her task is completed the moment the body resumes obedience, or ceases it entirely. Among the Pilgrims, she is trusted not because she saves lives, but because she never lies about their condition. "I do not promise survival. Combat Medic with Misericordia and Grenades - As the transport rounded the bend, headed out to reinforce the troops already entrenched near the river, the tire slid into a pothole and the soldier was jostled awake. Half-awake, through the reinforced glass he caught a glimpse of the combat medic. She stood alone, eyes alert and searching. Eyes both compassionate and cautious. Confidence without arrogance. He’d barely spoken a word to her, though her brother was in his platoon. He’d heard the stories about Randalf of course. How she’d beaten the Lieutenant in a training duel. How she’d faced down a preator on the field. How she’d saved Frank’s arm with nothing but gunpowder and a dishrag. “Those eyes . . .” he thought, “Someday I’m going to marry a girl with eyes like that.” Sadly, like so many others, the young soldier never left those trenches. This miniature is designed to be printed in UV resin and painted at a 32mm scale. Unsupported and pre-supported versions included.

For more than 800 years, the Cruciform Order of St George has defended Christendom. Even as the Choirs of Heaven fell silent, the Cruciform Order has remained resolute, grimly holding back the tide of the damned from one scarred battlefield to the next.

This pack represents command figures within the Cruciform Order, consisting of the below (from left to right):

An Order Field-Nurse – The Order’s Field-Nurses provide invaluable care to the wounded at the front, often at great risk to their own safety. When necessary, they are also prepared to grant mercy to the suffering—an important tenet of their calling.
An Order Castellan – Second sons and scoundrels with easy smiles, the Castellans of the Cruciform Order carve out their own fiefdoms in No Man’s Land. Each Castellan is responsible for a section of trench and the soldiery within it.
An Order Sapper – Masters of trench warfare, Sappers are responsible for the placement of Order defences and finding weaknesses in those of the enemy. They may lack the grandeur of the Order’s Field-Knights, but their work can mean the difference between life and death, even before the bullets start flying.

The Bellwarden is a sentinel whose duty transcends communication, a beacon of never-ending prayer and letanies on the battlefield. In combat, their position is one of calculated exposure; when a brother’s mask cracks or tears, they initiate the Fifth Rite and provide the wounded with Mask, Oil, and Prayer.

Clad in black-and-white monastic robes and a gas mask that hides every trace of humanity, she carries a censer filled with sanctified incense, its glow cutting through the haze like a guiding flame. In her other hand rests a holy surgeon’s knife, a tool meant for healing but often forced into grim necessity.

Upon her shoulder hangs a motanka bound in chains, a solemn relic or perhaps something more. Some soldiers swear they have seen the doll stir, pointing silently toward wounded men lost in the mud. Others claim a faint halo shimmered above the Sister’s hood as she worked. Most dismiss such tales as battlefield fever — yet none dare question her presence when death draws near.
