What are Trench Crusade Proxies?

Trench Crusade is a miniature agnostic game, meaning the developers explicitly encourage using proxies and third-party models! These community-created STLs allow you to build unique warbands with varied aesthetics while respecting the game's lore.

Are these official models?

No, these are fan-made or third-party designs. While many are designed specifically for Trench Crusade, they are not official products. Please support the official game creators by purchasing their rulebooks and official miniatures when available (check the official website).

How do I get the rules?

You can find the playtest rules for free on the official Trench Crusade website or join their Discord community for the latest updates.

How do I use this site?

Use the filters to browse by Faction, Warband, or specific Unit type. You can also see which models are free or paid, and find direct links to where you can download or purchase the files from the original creators.

Trench Larval Beast

Made for TC
The Larval Beast instils fear into Crusaders hearts and minds. These hellish creations roam the No Mans Land, and can topple even largest of the Prayer Tanks of the Faithful. They vary in size, and the largest ones are a threat that can require mobilization of entire platoons to be dealt with. They crawl endlessly forwards on the destroyed landscape, pulling their humongous carcass across the barren and desolate landscape.

The "Dragon" Larval Beast has a varied amount of eyes that each scan the surroundings for possible victims or threats to the creature. With the hulking body mass the Larval Beast can crush almost all opposition, and the unholy symbols carved into its flesh create protective magic that makes it almost undying - and only the largest artillery or cannon shells are able to pierce the defensive magical barrier.

The Larval Beast is labeled by the faithful to be a "Dragon" Class (V) Threat. Which is the highest possible threat in the classification system of Hell Beasts.

Margo, The Orphan of Set
When Edyn and the planes of existence surrounding it were formed, they were hollow and incomplete. Slowly they populated by the stray thoughts of Set coalescing on their own.

However, entities of notable importance required direct influence of Set. When The Comet Lord reached The High Heavens, he would make the first mistake of these worlds. He would create a being of absolute law and good.

He watched as his creation grew into a terrible force.. This being would be known as Margo.

After countless atrocities commited in the name of good, a realization was made. Set understood that absolute good is indistinguishable from evil.

The conflict brought about by Margo would lead to the end of these worlds if they were left unchecked. Set appeared before his creation and could not undo what he had wrought. Instead, he banished it to the space between realms in hopes that it would meet oblivion.

-

However, Margo’s influence was never truly severed from the world of Edyn. Instead of direct intervention, Margo would act as all other divinity and simply empower those worthy of their power. Over the ages, several individuals would earn the title of Saint of Margo.

With such power, all were regarded as mighty heroes of the light or great archpriests of divine orders. Until the last of their saints abused the power given - showing Margo that even their power can fall to corruption.

The Last Saint of Margo was an ambitious priest of a golden city, through their devotion they climbed the ranks of the order. At the pinnacle of the order, he was granted the power of Margo. With this he could extend his will upon the order, the city and beyond. Soon after his ascension, it became apparent that he was not pure of heart and wielded Margo’s power for his own.

He harnessed it and bound it to himself so it would never leave his grasp. With stolen power, he fueled his desire for the dark arts with divine magic. He weaved the light and dark into powerful spells that would eventually consume him and his order. Margo’s retribution came as a great sundering as the city was severed from the mainland and left isolated in The Great Sea.

As Margo, this city and it’s people were soon forgotten until they returned to the rest of the world anew. A new order was built by the Saint wielding power stolen from The Orphan of Set. His Holiness, The Anointed One, The Grand Pontiff, The Last Saint of Margo - Saint Maximilliano and his Perpetual Order of The City of Absentia.

The False Phoenix
As all False Entities, its origin is shrouded in mystery. Its mind altering abilities plague the people within its influence and few have the strength to face such a horror.

One of the more strange false creature, this horror is a mockery of the majestic phoenix. It bares the visage of the false, with a horrid beak protruding from its face. Flaps of flesh that seem to mimic feathers along its wings and tail. Multiple humanoid limbs ready to grab prey beneath it.

The first time your party witnesses The False Phoenix, you won't see it truly. You will enter a town and all will seem normal at first. Maybe the odd quirk here or there, nothing too alarming. For some reason or another, you can't leave the surrounding area of the town - the road is blocked by boulders, a bridge has collapsed or maybe a terrible storm is coming. Either way, you can't leave.
Until the night of the third day, a fire breaks out consuming the township and the surrounding area. Flames with supernatural intent to wipe the world clean and burn it all away. The townsfolk screaming in terror and panicking as all the know goes up in flame - unable to escape. You also share their same terrible fate.

That is, until you wake up? It's the beginning of the first day you entered the town. Everyone is alive and seemingly well? Time has turned back and the days repeat. The third night, the flames return and it all burns away until you wake up again.

The odd quirks begin to become more noticeable, you start to notice things are seemingly off. People are unstable and acting strange. The reason you can't leave seems more and more odd. As you begin to become more aware, you notice a paper in your pocket or scribbles in your journal. There are tally marks that you don't remember writing - it counts 33... 33 what?

You can't focus on that. This strange town is seemingly more strange every time you wake up. Already the third night is upon you and the flames return. However, something is different this time. A nightmarish winged horror flies above the town and the flames engulf it. How can no one see this thing? How could you not see it before? It doesn't matter though, you all burn anyways.

You wake up again. You search for the paper, the note in your journal... anything. The tally is higher, it's not 33 anymore - it reads 59. What is going on? You have one lead though, search for the winged horror that brings the flames.

The town is in shambles as it devolves with each passing cycle. You all walk in a living nightmare as you struggle to grasp onto reality. The townsfolk cease to respond or even function. All they do is scream or lay on the ground unresponsive. Whatever stopped you from leaving the town ceases to exist. The edge of the surrounding area drops off a steep cliff into fog, as if the world ceases to exist beyond this town.

Eventually you find the origin of the horror. A disturbing egg bigger than any of you. Pulsating and twitching, it waits for the third night.
You won't stand for another cycle, so you destroy the egg and the horrific creature within. Not fully formed, it is pitiful thing not ready to wreak havoc upon the township. As it dies, the world goes dark.

You wake up, except it's not the beginning of the first day. It's the middle of the night - you, your party and the townsfolk all waking up on the ground. Not all of you are fortunate enough to wake up from this shared dream.
How long have you all been here? Your body is sore from being comatose on the ground for so long. You're exhausted, hungry and thirsty.

You can't focus on that right now. You hear the scream of the horror that brings the flame. You can feel its ire. It is hunting you.

The False Hydra

A horrifying creature that is spawned in places plagued by sin. This aberration crawls out from the earth and immediately begins hunting it's prey- humanoids. Through a strange discordant song it sings, it magically begins to alter the minds of humanoids that can hear it's 'Blindsong'.

Those charmed by it's ill will, their perspective of reality begins to fracture to avoid facing the horror of The False Hydra itself. Loved ones that fell prey to the insatiable hungry of The False Hydra are soon forgotten by their friends and family. This comes at a price, madness begins to flourish when the mind suffers from the stress of the song for long periods of time. It is said to be weak towards quicksilver and fire, but few get to test these theories or rumours. Some even say that it regenerates like a hydra, but even the severed pieces can grow into a Young False Hydra.

Eventually this nightmare grows into a gargantuan multi-headed horror with sunken empty eyes and distorted humanoid faces that few adventurers dare face or can even comprehend.

The False Worm
Even the burning sands of Saathrasesh are plagued by False Entities. One False Entity unique to the region is The False Worm - a mockery of the gargantuan worms that burrow through The Dead Sands and Undersands.

The Colonies of The Undersands would revere the greatest of worms as harbingers of their emperor. Scholars believe the False Entities wanted to use mimic these iconic creatures and use it against them. However, the colonies of The Undersands have long since gone silent, but the terrors of the sands still roam.

Those perceptive and strong of will can sense the approach of a False Worm. A strange humming drone reverberates through the sands, leaving strange patterns in the surface. Most fail to notice these signs as their mind is forced to forget until it is too late.

Once the False Worm breaches the surface of the desert dunes - the nightmare begins. As the worm looms above its prey, something between a roar and scream bellows from its terrible maw. Soon it is followed by a cacophony of fingers scraping and rubbing - causing all forms of strange noises. Between the strange sounds from the fingers that line its body and the hum from its gullets - mortal minds begin to fall into deep disarray.

From here, a False Worm can wreak havoc as few can gather themselves to fight back. The few that survive can only remember fragments of what has happened. Some may suffer such mental trauma that they can forget those consumed by a False Worm. Like other False Entities, its mental effects make it extremely hard to write about or study.

The False Dragon
A mockery of proud dragons and truly a sinister horror. Through terror, domination and sheer power this False Entity can fell entire kingdoms with little resistance.

Like all False Entities, it is a monstrosity of horrfying flesh and bone that alters the minds of unfortunate souls in their presence. Rather than singing a terrible blindsong or stealing your memories - The False Draghon spews a miasma of domination. Its miasma alters the mind of those that breath it in and reduces all who cannot resist into unwilling thralls.

However, the truly insidious thing is that the thralls of the dragon are unaware of the domination. They simply carry out the will of the dragon without any recollection of the horro that spoke the words to them. Eventually the continual mental trauma will begin to reveal itself in srange ways - emotional outbursts, memory loss and madness. Few survive prolonger exposure to the influence of a False Entity, The False Dragon is no exception.

Once the False Dragon has chosen its lair - usually a throne room, and has dominated the nearby populace. It dwells in its lair commanding its thralls to bring more people to it. Slowly it spreads its evil influence by creating unwilling agents of its terrible will.

Can your heroes resist the will of The False Dragon? If not...
